Mix 96 Tour de Vale Bike Ride
Why not make 2012 the year that you take up our challenge of the Mix96 Tour de Vale Bike Ride?
Starting and finishing at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, our three routes will take you through stunning Buckinghamshire countryside and villages, receiving a warm welcome at the refreshment stops along the way. Last year over 1,000 registered riders took part in the ride raising an awesome £28,000 to help disabled people.
Why take part for WheelPower?
Based at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic Games, WheelPower organises a number of sports events which introduce disabled people to sport. These include the annual National Junior Games, Primary and Junior Sports Camps, and Inter Spinal Unit Games.
In September the eyes and ears of the world will be on the top Paralympic athletes competing in London. For many their journey would have started at Stoke Mandeville at one of our events. It remains WheelPower's charitable priority to provide the opportunities to allow disabled people to play sport and live healthy active lifestyles - something we can achieve with your support.
