Andrew is pedalling for WheelPower
On Sunday 4th July, Andrew McLaren from Drivers Jonas will be taking part in a one day international cycling event over the Dolomite Mountains in NE Italy, one of the most important amateur cyclist events in the whole of Europe.
Andrew is covering all his own costs, travelling and accommodation and is even taking his nephew as mechanic, support and first aid.
There will be approx 9000 entrants, from nearly 40 countries and it's a real Italian celebration of international amateur cycling. Andrew will be completing 138km over 7 Mountain passes with a total climb of 4190 metres.
WheelPower is the prefered charity of Drivers Jonas. Drivers Jonas has committed to providing at least 50 chairs for the 'Wheel Appeal'.
