The huge contribution to disability sport of Caz Walton and Robin Courage were recognised in the Queen's Birthday honours.
Caz who won competed in seven Paralympic Games, winning ten Gold medals was awarded an OBE.
Former GB Wheelchair Basketball captain Ann Wild also received an OBE. Ann began playing wheelchair basketball at the age of 10 and, by the age of 13, she had played in her first senior international game. Ann competed in the Seoul, Atlanta, Sydney, Athens and Beijinh Paralympics and captained the Great Britain Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team from 1993.
Robin, the Chairman of WheelPower's Fundraising Committee was awarded an MBE. Under Robin's leadership, the Committee raised £10.2 million to redevelop Stoke Mandeville Stadium. Robin continues to lead WheelPower's fundraising appeals, raising thousands every year.
Elsewhere, Steven Scott, Chairman of Dwarf Athletics Association UK was awarded an MBE.
