WheelPower are looking for people from all over the country to take on a challenge of a lifetime and skydive from 10,000ft in the sky. During an adrenaline rush you will never forget, your fears will soon transform to exhilaration as you leap from the plane and start freefalling at 120mph. On top of this imagine the self-satisfaction having raised vital funds for a charity that transforms the lives of disabled people.
Choose your skydive
You can skydive at one of 21 different locations across the UK and can pick a date that suits you. There are three different jumps to choose from:
|Tandem Skydive||Static Line||Accelerated Freefall|
|Jump Altitude||10,000 ft||3,000 ft||10,000 ft|
|Duration||1 day||2 days||2 days|
|Solo or with instructor?||Instructor||Solo||Solo|
|Comments||Ideal if you want to experience a 120mph freefall without having to do a day's training||For those who want to jump solo and also take the first step towards jumping||First level towards professional skydivers course|
Fundraising and Costs
Each of the three types of jumps are free, with a £70 deposit that can be taken from your sponsorship proceeds.
Your fundraising will make a huge difference to the lives of disabled children and recently injured adults. It could help WheelPower fund the opportunities like our introduction to sport events or providing the vital equipment that enables an individual to take part in wheelchair sport.
“My first sports wheelchair was like letting me run again, it gave me independence, ambitions and hope. WheelPower helped fund my first racing chair and without such fantastic support I wouldn’t be where I am today; a Paralympic and World Championship finalist”
