Disability Bowls England in partnership with Coach Bowls with funding supported by Sport England and WheelPower are very pleased to announce a series of combined Supporting Inclusion Courses/Disability Taster & social fixture days across the English counties.

Bowls is a game anyone can play, its fun, friendly, competitive and a great way of socialising. Disability is not a restriction we can help show you how anyone can enjoy the game to what ever standard you want, from rolls ups with friends to being part of Team England at the Commonwealth games.

Come along during the day, try some of the equipment available to bowlers, meet the team and learn a bit more about the opportunities for your club or fellow players. This event is being supported by funding from Sport England and WheelPower.

Disability Taster & Social Fixture Days

Bowlers with a disability Taster Days including Coach Bowls practical Supporting Inclusion module will take place around England. Come along during the day, try some of the equipment available to bowlers, meet the team and learn a bit more about the opportunities for your club or fellow players.

Sat 11 June - Salisbury BC, Wiltshire
Sat 2/ Sun 3 July - Cornwall
Saturday 20 August - Norfolk BC, Norwich
Sat 22/Sun 23 October -  Devon
Tuesday 10 November - Bromley IBC, Kent

Supporting Inclusion - Practical Course 

LOCATIONS: Same as above taster days.

COST: £25 

The courses are open to anyone, coaches, volunteers, helpers, club members etc who are interested in enabling Bowlers with a Disability to play bowls. 

"This 4 hour module is made up 2 hour online  & 2 hour practical, been designed for all club volunteers, whether coaches or club helpers / committee members and includes both practical and online theory aspects to working with bowlers who may have the need for additional support when taking part in club activities. Disability is not a restriction, we can help show you how anyone can enjoy the game to what ever standard you want. From rolls ups with friends to being part of Team England at the Commonwealth games."
