Pop in to WheelPower's Weekly Online Cafe every Thursday to experience live fitness classes, yoga, question and answer sessions and more!
Ben Clark will be your trainer at our WheelPower Online Cafe this week. Ben will be taking us through a short 20 to 30 minute class using a set of resistance bands or therabands (or something similar that can be stretched out such as tights or a tyre inner tube!)
During lockdown WheelPower has gifted over 200 sets of bands to disabled individuals, of all ages throughout the UK. We hope that this session will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about your bands, hear Ben's recommendations and discover some new techniques that you can use in the future. Equally if you haven't got any bands, but would like to hear more about them with the view of applying for some then we would welcome you to sign up also.
This short session is aimed at keeping you fit and active during this challenging time. No experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome. Members of your household can join in too!
11:00 to 11:15 - Welcome and introduction
11:15 to 11:40 - Workout (this may vary from 20 to 30 minutes)
11:40 to 11:50 - Q&A opportunity
11:50 to 12:00 - WheelPower programmes
In your home or garden!
A laptop/computer or phone to access the class via Zoom.
If you can please have the following equipment ready for the workout:
- A bottle of water
- Preferably a resistance band or theraband if you have one, but if not something that can be stretched out, tights are a good substitute or a tyre inner tube!!
