Try wheelchair padel in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment! Join us for a free taster session designed for physically disabled children, young people, and adults who would like to discover one of the fastest growing sports in the world. No previous experience is needed.

Learn to Play Padel with WheelPower will take place at Padium Canary Wharf, one of London’s leading indoor padel venues. Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, the club features world-class indoor and outdoor courts, modern changing facilities, accessible social spaces, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Padium has been designed to offer an inclusive and high-quality playing experience for both beginners and experienced players, making it the perfect setting to try wheelchair padel for beginners.

Session Times

Junior Session: 11:00am-12.30pm
Adult Session: 1:30pm – 3:00pm

What you’ll do

Our friendly and experienced coaches will help you:

    • Learn the basics of wheelchair padel including movement, positioning, and shot technique.
    • Build confidence on court in a welcoming and supportive environment
    • Try fun drills and games designed for all abilities.
    • Meet new people and enjoy trying an exciting new sport.

Who can attend?

    • Physically disabled children, young people, and adults.
    • Complete beginners are welcome.
    • Parents, carers, and friends are welcome to watch and support.

What to bring

All equipment will be provided, including sports wheelchairs, rackets and balls. Participants should wear comfortable sports clothing and suitable trainers. Please bring water with you for the session.

Accessible Parking

The closest parking to us is Cabot square which is approximately a 7 min walk/push. There is a 20 minute drop off bay directly outside the club. Please contact us if you will require parking.

Cost

This is a FREE event, but participants will be required to pay a £15 deposit to secure their place. This will be refunded after the event.
