This is a perfect event to work towards, keeping you motivated and moving this summer. Eton Dorney is perfect for wheelchair users in particular as the course is all on a flat, tarmac surface.
We ask all those taking part to commit to raising funds to transform the lives of those with physical disabilities by providing them with opportunities to get moving, get active and play sport, with a target of £250 per team or individual participant.
Who can join the lakeside missions:
Everyone is welcome. However all solo entrants, or at least one team member, considers themselves to have a disability of any kind. You can walk, wheel, run, or anything in between, around three scenic lakeside distances – 1km, 5km & 10km. Plus there’ll be (fake) snow, SUPER celebs, music, food & more. A SUPER-fun day out for all the family, it’s the perfect incentive to keep you active through the chillier months!
How:
Anything goes! You can walk, run, wheel or anything in between.
Each solo entrant & team member gets:
– Memento medal
– Finisher’s T-shirt
– The chance to be a Superhero for the day. Priceless
