Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
Location: Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury (Hybrid)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We’re looking for a Partnership & Workforce Manager to join the team at WheelPower.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with a wide range of organisations, and making a real difference through sport. You’ll help create more opportunities for disabled people to take part in sport and physical activity, while supporting the growth of wheelchair sport across the UK.
You’ll work closely with sports organisations, disability groups, education providers, healthcare professionals and other key partners. You’ll help develop new partnerships, support existing ones, and lead projects that improve opportunities for wheelchair users.
We’re looking for someone with experience in sports development, strong communication skills, and the confidence to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You’ll be organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload while working as part of a great team.
You’ll also play a key role in developing and supporting the wheelchair sport workforce, including coaches and volunteers.
What we’re looking for:
- At least two years’ experience in sports development
- Knowledge of disability sport or disability sector
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and use your initiative
- A willingness to travel nationally and work occasional evenings and weekends when needed
