Annabelle has been a longstanding supporter of WheelPower and disability sport ever since she met Eva Loeffler about 40 years ago and together they founded the London Committee . As a Co-Chairman of this committee, she has helped to raise significant funds for the charity by organising many high profile events in London .
Annabelle was also an integral member of both the Sporting Change Appeal Committee, which raised £10.2 million to redevelop Stoke Mandeville Stadium, and the Wheel Appeal Committee, which supplied more than 1,000 wheelchairs to disabled people.
Annabelle continues to champion the charity’s work at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement, and supports initiatives that encourage participation in wheelchair sport across the UK.
