Bucks Radio Tour de Vale
Sunday 12 June 2022
Organised by WheelPower, the Tour de Vale Charity Bike Ride is Buckinghamshire's largest charity cycling event.
Why Take part?
Our glorious routes start and finish at Stoke Mandeville Stadium before heading into the beautiful Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire countryside.
There's full support along the route including regular water stops, marshals, first aid and support vehicles plus you'll be rewarded with a well-earned medal at the finish. There will also be massage, a barbecue and a bar at the finish so that you can recover and relax. Join up with your friends, family and work colleagues and experience a unique ride, all whilst helping us provide opportunities for disabled people to lead active lives.

How much does it cost to enter?

Children under 16 25K*
Children under 16 65K*
Children under 16 110K*
* All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Note that all cyclists must wear a cycle helmet.
Your entry fee only pays for the cost of organising the event. The sponsorship money you raise will enable disabled people, including recently paralysed people who are rehabilitating in Stoke Mandeville Hospital to lead healthy active lives. Many disabled people have not returned to their pre-pandemic fitness regime and many recently disabled people have not received the support they need. There are many thousands of people who need our support. So the truth is, we’ve never needed your support more.
Create your fundraising page
Creating a JustGiving fundraising page is the easiest way to get sponsored. Share your page on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, via email, or on group chats with family and friends.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for fundraising.
Get prepared for the ride
We are grateful to our route planner Peter Robinson for producing these practice routes which will help you prepare for the ride. Whether it be for pre training or some new routes for you to experience, we hope you enjoy them.
Buckinghamshire Council run Bikeability Training Courses to help children learn to ride their bike safely. Find out more at https://www.bikeability.org.uk/about-cycle-training/cycle-training-for-adults
